You hear it before on the Tigers radio broadcasts. Manager Andrew Graham explained it to me on Sunday and to you on the blog Monday. The Tigers were all drafted for a reason. They can play this game. The trouble is the 3-10 start did not lend itself to building confidence.
That was until last night’s doubleheader.
The Tigers scored eight runs in game one and nine runs in game two and amassed a grand total of 21 hits between the doubleheader.
It was great to see Juaner Aguasvivas hit two home runs (one in each game). The Tigers got a two-run home run from CF Patrick Smith in game one to go along with a solo home run from Aguasvivas in a four-run fifth inning Friday.
Tonight the series wraps up and we’ll see ya at Dodd for Dollar Dog Night sponsored by Kayems All Beef Hot Dogs.
Pre-game coverage at 6:50 p.m. on AM 1310 WICH.
