There was a large amount of military personnel and their families at the game Friday night.
The Field was designed with patriotism in mind.
A fireworks show and comedian followed the game.
The Day had a special ticket offers for readers Saturday night,
and raffled off many items including a Tigers’ team signed bat.
As part of Boy Scout Night, scouts had a pregame parade and camped out on the field following the game.
A check presentation was made during the game to Officer Michelle Wyatt, as part of Cop on Top, a fundraiser benefiting Special Olympics.
As with every Sunday Funday, children were able to run the bases and have a catch on the field after the game.
There’s a noon start and numerous buses in the parking lot, it must be Camp Day.
The stands were awash with different colored t-shirts representing each of the numerous camps in attendance.
The Tigers return home Saturday for a 3 game series with Batavia.
With the countdown to Gates Opening tonight at less than 3 hours, the Front Office is working hard in preparation for Military Appreciation Night.
Signage has gone up on the concourse,
which has been decorated for the night.

The Field Crew has been working hard in the hot sun all day
preparing the field
and adding some color to the Tigers’ behind the plate logo.
First pitch between the Tigers and ValleyCats is at 7:05.
